1 The evaluation edition is not time limited. It does install to the hard disk.
2 The downloadable CDs contain only 32-bit packages - the same (no more no less) packages as in the downloadable 32-bit DVD.
3 There is a 64-bit DVD available with the same packages as the 32-bit DVD. But both these downloadable DVDs have a reduced package selection compared to the retail DVD, because the retail DVD is double-layer and can hold more data.
4 The LiveDVD runs from the DVD and is not installable.
5 OSS = Open Source Software only. No Adobe Reader, Macromedia Flash Player etc. You can of course install such non-OSS separately from FTP or downloads. Check the complete list here.
